The Caffarex is a larger version of the Maximatic. This is a Heat Exchange boiler system that provides steam on demand as well as espresso when desired.

Larger boiler will result in more satisfying steam and includes a hot water tap.

Steam boiler needs to be manually filled using a fill button and requires user to keep an eye on the sight glass.

This unit has a black panel (appears to have been professionally painted).

Prep for sale included group service (portafilter gasket), steam and hot water valves service, replace pump (Ulka) and a new brew solenoid valve coil.

 

Tested thoroughly, everything works.
